Below are a few sample projects that we have worked on:-

Project One:-

General Carpentry and Joinery
  • Design and build a bespoke hardwood (Iroko) summer house with a corner bench
    		•

  • Machining the iroko legs ready to hold the rails of the summer house frame.
    		•
  • The finished legs were installed with rubber feet to elevate them from the ground.
    		•

  • This shows a corner of the summer house assembled ready to have the outer boards installed..
    		•
  • Now with the outer hardwood cladding installed the corner frame can be taken to peices ready for final assembly on site.
    		•

  • This shows the starting of the roof after the initial square frame was made
    		•
  • Now the rafters have been cut and fastened onto the frame ready to take the internal Iroko hardwood cladding.
    		•

  • Each piece of the hardwood cladding was cut to length and installed.
    		•
  • The finished cladding looks very impressive with it's central roof bolster.

  • The roof was now given it's felt covering, then the final slate tiles were individually cut to size and labelled ready for final assembly on site.
    		•
  • Now the frame and roof were completed i started on the bespoke Iroko corner seat.
    		•

  • These are the bench heads after they had been morticed ready to take the upright slats to form the bench backs.
    		•
  • The bench had to be designed as individual seats so they could be transported and assembled once in place, this made it a difficult build and a design challenge.

  • The bench was assembled ready to take the seating lats.
    		•
  • The bench was sanded then taken to pieces ready for transport.
    		•

  • This is the corner of the client's garden where the summer house was to be assembled.
    		•
  • Half way through assembly the roof is fastened into place ready to take it's slate covering.
    		•
