The walls throughout the ground floor were taken back to brick to
be damp proofed and re-rendered and plastered. Some walls also needed
tie bars to brace the old brickwork where cracks had shown through
the original render and plaster |
The old kitchen was taken out revealing the pipe work and the
walls were prepared for damp proofing |

The new kitchen was installed with scribed worktop joints then
tiled around the surfaces |

The outside toilet was converted into a utility room. Here you
see outside, after the old door and frame were removed and bricked
up with reclaimed matching bricks and a matching concrete sill |

Upstairs the old cast iron bath, sink and toilet were removed
to make way for the new suite |

on the bath until we handed the room over to the client |

and skimmed including new skirting boards |
The electric meters etc were unsightly mounted above the main door,
the client was going to have these taken outside at great cost to
make the hall a clean wall space, but we suggested a much cheaper
alternative by boxing them in while providing easy access |
