Conversion of a coal shed to a down stairs bathroom - Renovation
Design brief:-
  • Convert the old out door coal shed into a down stairs bathroom and make a new entrance into it from the inside of the house
    		•

  • Before we started the project you can see the old coal shed door
    		•
  • Inside the coal shed before the renovation and conversion started
    		•

  • The old door and frame was taken out and the new brickwork build up
    		•
  • Here you can see the finished brickwork and UPVC window with obscure glass

  • This was the wall that was going to provide the entrance into the new bathroom
  • This shows the new entrance into the bathroom with the door frame

  • The finished entrance into the new down stairs bathroom (excluding door) having just been plaster and the door frame trimmed out with architrave

  • Alterations to the outside soil pipe for the new bathroom and the installation of an outside tap
